Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) technique that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to treat health conditions. Acupuncture is based on the idea that health comes from balancing the flow of qi, or vital energy, through the body's pathways, called meridians. Practitioners insert needles into specific points along the meridians to restore balance and encourage the body to heal itself. The needles can be manipulated manually or stimulated with small electrical currents. Acupuncture can help with a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, migraines, muscle and joint pain, menstrual cramps, fertility, and sports injuries.
Dietetics
Dietetics is the application of nutrition science to the human body in health and disease. Dieticians are qualified specialists who can help people of all ages improve their health and wellbeing through nutrition and dietary advice. Dieticians provide guidance about how to appropriately manage diets and nutrition for people who are looking to optimize their health, sport and exercise performance and who may be affected by health conditions such as diabetes, overweight and obesity, cancer, heart disease, renal disease, gastro-intestinal diseases and food allergies. A dietitian can help people maintain their health and reduce their risk of developing chronic disease.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Pete employs a modern multi-modal approach to chiropractic care - utilising a range of myofascial techniques, movement retraining, taping and rehabilitation, manual as well as low force adjusting techniques, and joint manipulation, with a strong focus on getting you feeling better, moving better, and in charge of your own health.
